I use tarnish resistant Argentium Silver for all of my wire wrapped rings & amulets. It's more expensive than Sterling Silver and even more expensive than pure .999 fine silver wire, and contains more germanium to help resist tarnishing. It's so bright, it doesn't really need to be polished, but I polish all of my silver items before shipping them anyway.

This ring contains a deep red natural carnelian agate, and it's the #1 best seller so far. people seem to really love the color of Carnelian and/or it's metaphysical properties which I have listed below. I have listed here the properties of pearl and aragonite since they both apply to what Mother of Pearl is made of.

Rhodochrosite is an amazing stone, and obviously the ladies love the color, and it looks stunning in the silver wire setting. The one shown in the photo is light pink, but some stones are dark hot pink in color. Most of the ones I have for wire wrapping are light pink. But the ones I use for setting into sterling sivler ring shanks are hot pink, which you can see on the "RING 1" page.

Amethysts are harder to find and tend to cost a little more than the other stones. Even on eBay the bidding wars get intense, and the prices get out of control.  I have many Amethysts of different shapes and sizes, and some even emerald cut, and others faceted instead of the normal cabochon style you see in the photo.

 Right now I have one 20x15 Amethyst in stock that deep purple just like the one in the photo, and is valued at over $500! So that's why this ring is a little more expensive than the rest.

Amethyst is the stone of royalty, do to it's royal purple coloring. These deeper purple stones are harder to come by, and therefore worth much more than light lavender stones. If you'd prefer to have this stone set into a solid sterling silver ring shank, I can do that as well for the same price, but it's a very large stone, so be sure that you want a ring that huge! Amethyst is the "Stone for spirituality and contentment", and it helps make your mind stabilized and clear, and helps make your life get into order and stay that way. Amethyst clears the aura and stabilizes any dysfunctional energy. During meditation, it can greatly help with achieving a peaceful state of mind. This style is very difficult because I use 10 wires that are 21 gauge, so it's hard to make the wires stick together and act as one single band during the process. This is called red tiger eye even though it's not actually red; much like some wood is called red or cherry wood and isn't actually red. But unlike normal tiger eye, this stone is uniform in color, and I guess it may have a slight bit of natural red mixed with it's deep brown coloring. If you've never seen tiger eye in person, then you won't be able to understand how beautiful it is just by looking at these photos, since the stone has an incredible chatoyancy effect due to the reflection of light by the fibrous structure. This faceted form makes that effect even more pronounced.
